Triana Quarter – Guided Tour

Discover Seville’s most famous neighborhood

A tour of the neighborhood of flamenco, the sea, and clay

Why take this tour?

Why take this tour with me?

Unlike large group tours, you’ll have a professional guide all to yourself. It will be a more personalized tour, and you’ll be able to ask as many questions as you like, since I’ll be entirely at your disposal.

You’ll be supporting high-quality, more sustainable tourism in Seville, while also ensuring that your guide has the historical knowledge needed to lead the tour.

What you’ll do

  • We will begin by explaining the origins of Triana and its connection to Seville, describing its geographical location and why this has been a defining factor in its history.
  • We will take a tour of its streets, highlighting its notable buildings and tracing its history through them. Along the way, we will visit the Capilla del Carmen, the Casa Montalván, the Callejón de la Inquisición, the Triana Market, and the Universidad de Mareantes, among other sites.
  • Throughout the tour, you’ll discover why the people of Triana say they’re “part of the bridge and yet separate.” I’ll tell you about the origins of this cultural “distinction” that still lingers today.
  • We’ll wrap up at the Church of Santa Ana, the neighborhood’s most important landmark, but not before recommending some tapas bars and shops to enhance your experience in Triana.
