Museums

It’s not small the number of artists that have been born in Seville or passed through here, nor is it of trivial importance the city has had over the years, so there is nothing better to do than to wander through its museums to get to know the rich artistic tradition of Seville.

In those you will find works from the great masters, like Valazquez or Murillo, to Costumbrism painters such as Gonzalo Bilbao, or Contemporary Art in a medieval monastery, the ruins of houses from the Roman Empire, the Spanish Inquisition’s ancient castle, a centre to learn about the traditional ceramics of Triana or a whole museum dedicated to the Andalusian arts and customs.

If you are visiting Seville, there’ll be one that will certainly spark your curiosity, and if you live here they will definitely help you get to know your city a little better.
